Composing all songs for the collection, Kristin possesses a gift only a small percentage of writer’s own. Kristin pens her profound compositions, charming her listeners, with spellbound feeling as if to say, “I’ve been there”. Songs about relationships may appear peculiar to a woman committed to her craft unflinchingly. Great authors and poets are renowned for their solitary lifestyle. The sexy bluesy, “Slice Of Pie”, follows with a message about grabbing the most out of life while you live it. From there Kristin relays a warning to her friend on “Heart Of Stone” in which Kristin suggests to watch out for a boy who is “cold as ice”. Kristin utilizes a talented team of musicians on “The Elephant Groove”, supporting her craft for songwriting and production with brilliant outcome. Newcomer Billy Hyatt is included on seven of the thirteen tracks and Kristin has again teamed up with Tom Landry for various placements. Patricia Wilder and Pete Thoeness also make guest appearances on electric guitar for the first time with Kristin. In February 2011, Kristin released the introspective and endearing “Whole In My Soul”. The set was distributed worldwide for Big Fuss Records and has seen gradual affirmative and increased demand with exposure.
